Day 01: Arrival - Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your Blue Lanka chauffeur-guide. Transfer to Colombo for a brief city orientation before checking in at your hotel. Evening at leisure to unwind or stroll through the city streets.

Day 02: Colombo - Anuradhapura

Transfer north to Anuradhapura, the first Sinhalese capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient city by bicycle, visiting sacred stupas, monasteries  and historic ruins. Witness the impressive Ruwanwelisaya and Jetavanarama Dagobas. Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 03: Anuradhapura - Sigiriya

Morning visit to Mihintale, the birthplace of Buddhism, followed by a guided trek through Ritigala Monastery with its fascinating legends. Continue to Sigiriya and check in at your hotel nestled in lush greenery. Evening at leisure to enjoy the resort’s surroundings or a sunset walk.

Day 04: Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa

Early morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress to admire frescoes and panoramic views. Savor an authentic Sri Lankan lunch at a local eatery. Transfer to Polonnaruwa to explore the medieval capital’s ruins, including Gal Vihara and the Royal Palace. Return to Sigiriya for overnight stay.

Day 05: Sigiriya - Kandy

Transfer to Kandy via Dambulla Cave Temple, observing magnificent Buddhist frescoes. Optional visit to Matale Alu Viharaya for additional cultural insight. Check in at your hotel in Kandy. Evening cultural dance show showcasing Sri Lanka’s vibrant heritage.

Day 06: Kandy - Mahiyanganaya

Morning blessings at the revered Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. Travel east to Mahiyanganaya, gateway to Dambana Veddha Village. Participate in traditional activities such as clay pot making and ‘Pan’ weaving. Trek to Rathna Ella and Kaluwa Wetuna waterfalls. Enjoy an authentic rice and curry dinner at a local village.

Day 07: Dambana & Gal Oya

Full-day Veddha Village experience in Dambana, guided by the community. Bush walk through ancestral jungles, explore mountain caves, observe traditional hunting methods  and visit authentic Veddha dwellings. Evening BBQ dinner with traditional Veddha songs and dances.
Overnight in Dambana / Gal Oya region

Day 08: Gal Oya - Colombo

Morning boat safari in Gal Oya National Park, spotting elephants and wildlife in their natural habitat. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure, concluding the Sri Lanka Cultural & Veddha Heritage Adventure.
